Vibrant design for a vibrant village
When Ellerslie Town Centre Manager, Megan, approached me, the Ellerslie Business Assocation were struggling to communicate their ideas for the future of Ellerslie with the residents, business owners and visitors from further afield.
Ellerslie is a vibrant village with much to offer in terms of business opportunities, a tight-knit community, shopping and eateries. We quickly established that the original Ellerslie Business Association brand needed to be all-encompassing and changed the name to Ellerslie Village.
We discussed the vision for the future of Ellerslie in depth before commencement and I then came up with a number of logo concepts to fit the brief. I presented each one to the team who decided which best communicated their desired message and fit with their strategic plan.

The collateral designed extended from logo and brand strategy including the five sub-brands to business cards, letterhead files, street flags, moveable banners, town signage and the new Ellerslie Village website.
The original Ellerslie Business Association website was proving very tricky and time-consuming to update. My clients wanted a simple solution that looked modern and progressive, communicated their new brand and was simple for "non-techs" to update.
I designed a Rocketspark website solution that will grow with them, give them the opportunity to showcase their local businesses and community groups, and save them a huge amount of administration time.
